Additional Specs

Textlinks:

• Results Page Textlink: 25 characters plus search parameters (40 characters if NOT using search parameters)
• Heading Textlink: 35 characters plus search parameters (50 characters if NOT using search parameters)
• Search parameters are the values of the topmost search result (city, state, ZIP, last name).
• Textlinks are hosted/served by WhitePages.com but can be tracked by 3rd party through the use of 1x1 pixel tags.

Audio:

• Must be user-initiated and never automatic
• If audio is used, creative must include an On/Off switch for users

Animation/Loops:

• 15-second limit
• 3 loops max
• No "strobing" or "flashing" creatives

Publisher-hosted Flash creatives:

• Creative must be delivered as a .SWF file (Flash version 5 or above).
• Files with one single click URL require that an FSCommand be embedded in the file for publisher to track clicks.
• Command must be clickTAG.
• File size maximum for initial download is listed in table above. Up to four additional download streams upon user click are permitted. Each additional stream may not exceed 50K.
• Please submit a backup/default image (JPG or GIF) to be served in case the user does not have Flash installed. The file size maximum is the same.

Publisher-hosted creatives (general):

• Maximum of 6 creatives in rotation per placement.
• 5 images max for image maps.
• Form Method must equal "GET".

Rich Media:

• We support all leading vendors including Eyeblaster, Unicast, United Virtualities, PointRoll, DART Motif, Viewpoint, etc.
• 10-second maximum playtime for floating/top-layer ads.
• Expanding ads should expand only upon mouse roll-over, and collapse automatically upon mouse roll-off.
• Expanding and floating ads must have a "Close" button that is clearly labeled. Close button should be on the same side of each frame/phase of the ad.
• Audio must be user-initiated only, and have an On/Off button.
• Streaming video must have an On/Off button, and must be muted if the video plays automatically. All streaming video must be built into an ad position (can't be a floating ad).
• Due to performance issues, creative should be served directly via rich media vendor adservers and not through 3rd party adservers.

Creative Deadlines:

• GIF, JPEG, or 3rd-party tag - 2 business days prior to start date
• Flash (publisher-hosted) - 5 business days prior to start date
• Rich Media - 5 business days prior to start date
