WhitePages.com, the leading provider of online directory assistance services, today announced the promotion of Derek Netelenbos to vice president, online advertising sales and operations.
Netelenbos will oversee the day-to-day operations, as well as the long-term strategy and success of advertising sales, account management and media strategy for WhitePages.com. Previously, Netelenbos was the vice president of business development and helped WhitePages.com, Inc's two business units identify strategic market opportunities and forge partnerships that support the company's overall direction and growth goals. Netelenbos led the team responsible for several recent distribution partnerships including MSN and Verizon SuperPages.com.
Prior to joining WhitePages.com, Netelenbos held senior marketing and product management positions with Loudeye Technologies. He was also a top performing national account manager for AT&T where he oversaw the management of several strategic clients including Starbucks Coffee Company, Attachmate and Global Leisure Travel. Netelenbos holds a B.A. in Business Administration from the University of Washington.
