WhitePages.com, Inc, the leading provider of free online residential directory assistance services, today announced that Brian McAndrews, president and CEO of aQuantive, Inc. was appointed to its board of directors as of October 28, 2005.
McAndrews brings more than 20 years of industry experience to the WhitePages.com board. In addition to his board role, he serves as president and CEO of aQuantive, the Seattle-based parent company of one of the industry's most successful families of digital marketing companies, including interactive agency Avenue A | Razorfish, digital technology marketing provider Atlas, and performance media company DRIVEpm. In 2000, McAndrews was named by Advertising Age as one of the top 20 players in the interactive advertising space. Prior to joining aQuantive, McAndrews worked for ABC, Inc. for nine years between 1990 and 1999, holding executive positions at ABC Sports, ABC Entertainment and the ABC Television Network. From 1984 to 1989, McAndrews worked in product management at General Mills, a leading consumer products manufacturer.
