Five-year growth of more than 4,600 percent earns WhitePages.com a spot on the Deloitte Technology Fast 50

WhitePages.com, Inc., the leading online provider of free residential directory assistance services, today announced they were the fifth fastest-growing technology company in Washington State, according to the prestigious Deloitte Technology Fast 50 Program.

The ranking is attributed to the company's 4,600 percent revenue growth during the last five years. WhitePages.com, Inc. attributes the rapid growth to the overall performance of WhitePages.com Network proprietary sites which include 411.com, PhoneNumber.com, WhitePages.com and WhitePages.ca. The addition of major distribution partners like MSN, Verizon and the YellowPages Group also contributed to the company's five year growth. The combined strength of the company's proprietary sites and its network of partners have enabled WhitePages.com to more than double profits and revenue each consecutive year since 2000.

The selection to the Technology Fast 50 is the latest in a string of accolades received by the company this year. In March, the Washington Software Alliance selected WhitePages.com as the 'Consumer Product of the Year.' To qualify for the Technology Fast 50, companies must have had operating revenues of at least $50,000 in 2000 and $1,000,000 in 2004, be headquartered in Washington, and be a "technology company," defined as a company that owns proprietary technology that contributes to a significant portion of the company's operating revenues; or devotes a significant proportion of revenues to the research and development of technology. Using other companies' technology in a unique way does not qualify. This is the first year WhitePages.com, Inc. is eligible for this award.
