WhitePages.com Appoints New Vice President, Business Development
Microsoft veteran to lead business development team
SEATTLE-July 12, 2006
WhitePages.com, the leading provider of online directory assistance services, today announced that John Jordan was appointed vice president, business development. Jordan will be responsible for identifying strategic market opportunities and forging partnerships that support the company's overall direction and growth goals.
Jordan brings 10 years of business development, strategic planning and corporate development experience to his role at WhitePages.com. Previously, Jordan served as director, business development at MSN where he was responsible for planning and executing strategic partnerships that included MSN services distribution via PC manufacturers including Hewlett Packard and interactive content distribution in MSN Messenger.
"The impressive list of distribution partnerships already in place is clear evidence that WhitePages.com is the definitive leader in the online residential directory assistance space," said Jordan. "I am excited to lead the team that will bring new partnerships to the WhitePages.com network, and move the company towards continued growth well into the future."
Prior to MSN, Jordan served as director of business development and strategic planning for Microsoft Games Studios where he led negotiations for the acquisitions of Bungie Software, developer of the Halo franchise, and Ensemble Studios, developer of Age of Empires. He also managed the IP licensing and merchandising business for Microsoft Games.

Jordan will be based out of the company's Seattle headquarters. He holds an MBA from the Anderson School at UCLA and B.S. in Communications from Syracuse University.
