Company donates advertising for campaign against global AIDS and extreme poverty
SEATTLE-July 1, 2005
WhitePages.com Network, a leading provider of online directory assistance services, today announced they will donate free ad impressions for 'ONE: The Campaign to Make Poverty History.' The ads will run for five days beginning today. WhitePages.com Network reaches over 16.5 million unique users per month in the United States and Canada.
WhitePages.com Network is partnering with Viewpoint, a leading provider of innovative visual technologies for the web and the desktop, in their efforts to provide one billion ad impressions to collect online signatures for the ONE campaign against global AIDS and extreme poverty. The "Viewpoint Billion" will be added to the millions of signatures ONE.org has already collected. Signatures will be presented to world leaders at the G8 summit later this month as they make determinations on humanitarian contributions.
