With the vision to provide consumers a free, accurate, and fast Internet-based directory assistance alternative, Alex Algard founded WhitePages.com in 1997. Initially started as a hobby, and incorporated in 2000, WhitePages.com has been profitable since inception. As CEO, Alex is primarily focused on how to best translate user needs into a great service offering and strategic direction. Alex is also the founder of CarDomain Network, the leading online community for car enthusiasts. In 2007 Alex was selected as the Software Entrepreneur of the Year, Pacific Northwest by Ernst & Young and as a finalist for Inc. magazine’s Entrepreneur of the Year. Alex began his career in investment banking with the Goldman Sachs High Technology Group. Alex holds a BA in Economics and a MS in Engineering, both from Stanford University.

With 15 years of business management, marketing and consulting experience, Max has helped companies identify opportunities and successfully execute to drive revenue and profit growth. The Puget Sound Business Journal named Max to their '40 Under 40' list of exceptional business leaders in 2005. Prior to joining the team at WhitePages.com, Max held executive level positions with both Telesensory Corp. and GiftCertificates.com. As a co-founder of GiftCertificates.com, he developed the company's best selling product, the SuperCertificate™. Max was also a consultant with Bain & Company, and a systems analyst for Procter & Gamble. He holds an MBA with honors from the University of Chicago, and Bachelor degrees magna cum laude in Management Information Systems and Accounting from the University of Cincinnati.

Prior to joining WhitePages.com, Suki was CFO of WSA (formerly the Washington Software Alliance). She also spent seven years at Sierra On-line, a leading provider of entertainment software, where she was quickly promoted to Vice-President of Finance and Administration during the company's rapid expansion phase. She began her career in the San Jose office of Coopers & Lybrand. Suki is a Certified Public Accountant and she holds a B.S.C. in Accounting from Santa Clara University.

As Vice President, Engineering and Technology, Joe leads software engineering, technical strategy, and site operations for the WhitePages.com Network and W3 Data, plus the company's internal technology operations. Joe is also responsible for identifying new technical and market directions for the company. Previously Joe was the Co-founder and CEO of Snapvine.com where he led the company through two rounds of financing and built a world-class team that created market leading consumer VoIP and social networking applications. Prior to Snapvine, Joe held senior positions at Openwave, where he helped bring the Openwave Mobile Browser to Vodaphone Japan and at Infoseek, which acquired his ecommerce startup in 1999. He holds an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management, and a BS in Computer Science from the University of Washington.

Prior to joining WhitePages.com, David was Director of Global Product at Travelport Corporate Solutions (Orbitz), where he developed new product launches on five continents, as well as development of an industry-leading travel policy engine. David has also held senior product management and marketing positions at OAG, Participate Systems, and United Airlines. He holds an MBA from the University of Chicago, and a BA in Business Administration from The Ohio State University.

Prior to joining WhitePages.com, Young was the executive vice president, sales and business development of iParadigms where he was responsible for driving and managing the company’s revenue. Young also spent time managing business development functions at several top consumer web properties including Ask Jeeves, Expedia.com and Amazon.com. Young holds a JD from Boston College Law School and holds a BA in English Literature from the University of California, Berkeley.

Before joining the WhitePages.com team, John spent four years at Microsoft in a number of marketing roles, most recently leading worldwide marketing efforts for Windows Live Messenger. Prior to Microsoft, John served as co-founder and Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Platinum Concepts, Inc., a consumer product manufacturing company. In addition, he consulted for Ernst & Young and is a published author. He holds an MBA from The Wharton School at UPENN and a BA in Management Information Systems from SMU.

Previously, Kevin was the Vice President of Sales and Monetization at Snapvine and prior to that he was the Vice President of Music at Real where he ran the product, monetization, marketing, mobile, and editorial teams for Rhapsody. He holds a B.A. in Philosophy from Whitman College and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.

Prior to joining WhitePages, Craig spent five years at DoubleClick Inc. and three years at Admarketplace.net which powered the ebaykeywords program. He has extensive knowledge of on-line media and technology solutions. Craig´s experience stems from working with traditional direct marketers and brand advertisers helping to achieve their acquisition and retention marketing goals. Craig also worked at CIBC Oppenheimer for 3 years as a financial consultant. Craig has a B.S. in Communication and Advertising from the University of Hartford.

Keela Robison

In her role as Vice President of Product, Keela directs the WhitePages product roadmap and customer experience. She manages the interaction design, creative, and project management teams, along with the data group and customer service. Previously, Keela ran the Web and Telesales business at T-Mobile USA, where she was responsible for e-commerce and web self-service, web partnerships, and a telesales team of over 1,000 representatives. Prior to T-Mobile, she was General Manager of News and Entertainment at RealNetworks, and was a consultant at Bain & Company. Keela graduated with an MA, International Policy and BA, Economics from Stanford University where she received the President’s Award for Academic Achievement.

Brian leads the Microsoft Advertiser and Publisher Solutions (APS) Group. The APS team is responsible for building and marketing all ad platforms, including Atlas, DRIVEpm, MSNDR, AdCenter and PubCenter, along with emerging media including Atlas On Demand, Massive and ScreenTonic.

Prior to its acquisition by Microsoft in August 2007, Brian ran aQuantive Inc., one the fastest-growing global digital marketing companies in the world, serving as Chief Executive Officer and Director since September 1999, and as President since January 2000. The company included three distinct business units: Avenue A | Razorfish, one of the world’s largest interactive advertising firms with agencies in the U.K., France, Germany, Australia, China and Japan; Atlas and DRIVEpm.

Brian currently serves on the Board of Directors for Fisher Communications, a media company based in Seattle, for WhitePages.com, Inc., and for the Seattle-Northwest chapter of the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD).

Will Griffith

Will joined
TCV as a Principal in 2000 and became a General Partner in 2003. Will has led or co-led investments in 2Wire, Continuous Computing, InPhonic (public: INPC), Lynk Systems (acquired by Royal Bank of Scotland), Paciolan, Fandango, Techwell, Egenera, INFOnxx, Liquidnet, Motricity, Nextag, Riskmetrics, WhitePages.com, Oak Pacific and Adknowledge. In addition to his board role at WhitePages.com, he currently serves on the Boards of 2Wire, CCPU, Adknowledge, MoneyExpert, Orbitz (NYSE: OWW), Tiny Prints, and Travelport. Prior to TCV, Will was an Associate at The Beacon Group, a private equity firm that was acquired by JP Morgan Chase in 1999. Prior to joining The Beacon Group, he was an investment banking analyst at Morgan Stanley. Will received a BA in Engineering and History from Dartmouth College and a MBA from the Graduate School of Business at Stanford.

Al Dobron is a Managing Director of
Providence Equity Partners, based in the firm's Providence office. Al is currently a director of Affinity Direct, Bustos Media, Hulu, Newport Television, NexTag, Trumper Communications III and Univision Communications, and was, during the period of Providence's investment, a director of ProSiebenSat.1 Media AG and BlueStone Television. Al is also actively involved with Yankees Entertainment and Sports Network. Prior to joining Providence in 1999, Al worked for Morgan Stanley in mergers and acquisitions. Previously, he held positions with the K.A.D. Companies, a private equity investment group, working primarily in an operating role with one of the firm's portfolio companies. Al received a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Science from the University of New Hampshire.
